- The tabernacle will operate as a “church without walls” serving the purposes of the LORD JESUS CHRIST by building HIS body whenever the opportunity arises, provided such opportunity is sanctioned by the HOLY SPIRIT.
- Members of the Tabernacle assembly (including members of the presbytery) are free to pursue their ministries to the body of CHRIST and the workplace, whenever the HOLY SPIRIT leads them. They are free to become members of any other assembly in the body of CHRIST where the LORD leads them to minister
- It is the intent of the Tabernacle to build citizens of the Kingdom of GOD who are spiritually mature, with GOD given purpose in ministry – either with the Tabernacle, or elsewhere in the body of CHRIST or in the workplace, as designated by the HOLY SPIRIT
- It is the intent and purpose of the Tabernacle to raise a 5-fold ministry within the Tabernacle (and also in partnership with others outside the Tabernacle) in order to equip the believer to minister to the growth of the body of CHRIST and in the workplace, wherever the HOLY SPIRIT determines such ministry to be
- The tabernacle welcomes 5-fold ministers and believers from every part of the body of CHRIST to receive the in-depth apostolic teachings (via actual attendance or through distance learning via CD’s, tapes and books) that will facilitate spiritual growth and maturity and will enable service to the LORD wherever the minister/believer is called to function in the body of CHRIST or in the workplace. In this light it is anticipated that there will always be a significant and increasing, transient component to those who attend the assemblies/services at the Tabernacle
- The Tabernacle is meant to be a fluid assembly able to present itself for the LORD’s work in any form suited to the opportunity to build the body of CHRIST and, extend the boundaries of the Kingdom of GOD. Such form can be in partnership with other parts of the body of CHRIST – even when leadership for the undertaking comes from outside the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle objective will always be to glorify the LORD and seize the opportunity for the extension of the Kingdom when such opportunity is sanctioned by the HOLY SPIRIT
- This ministry is called the Tabernacle on the premise that every member of the Tabernacle assembly will see themselves as a living tabernacle unto GOD – “tabernacle” in the secret place of the MOST HIGH GOD (see 1 cor 3:16-17; 6:19-20; ps 91:1; 15:1-2) for the unveiling of a GOD-ordained purpose. This idea of being a functioning tabernacle unto GOD will be the basis of the spiritual development of the believer to maturity. Understanding that as a tabernacle we are each invested with the presence and the name of YHWH (see 2 chron 7:16; john 17:6,26) for the discovery and pursuit of the Divine purpose, will be the essential spiritual reality for the believer’s life and ministry at the Tabernacle
